  1. 01

    Open the side panel

Click the NameOps extension action. No external account or sign-in is required.

  2. 02

    Test Member mode

Keep the default NameOps workspace name or choose a test name, select Member, review the local-data disclosure, and continue. A team pack may be selected during this one-time setup; afterward, generate and validate remain available while registry editing, imports, resets, and source configuration are locked.

  3. 03

    Test Local Administrator

On a fresh profile, choose Local Administrator and use a temporary password such as NameOps2026. Lock the administrator, confirm a wrong password fails, then unlock with the temporary password. The password is not transmitted or stored in plaintext.

  4. 04

    Import the standalone demo

Import the public JSON below as a local administrator. Account generation should produce DEMO_META_DTC_US. A PC-prefixed account must be rejected after this standalone replacement.

  5. 05

    Test optional HTTPS sync

Copy the absolute URL below into Team Rule JSON and click Connect and Sync. Chrome requests access to this exact origin. The same sanitized pack loads without credentials, cookies, or login.

  6. 06

Generate UTM with and without Triple Whale

The reviewer demo disables Triple Whale, so no tw_* parameters are generated or required. Restore the Starter Rules to see the optional setting enabled.

  7. 07

    Copy or fill

Copy works on any page. Fill requires a user-focused editable field on a recognized advertising editor and never clicks Save or Publish. Destination URL mode reads the focused URL only for the local merge operation.

  8. 08

    Confirm privacy boundaries

Incognito mode is disabled. The extension does not request cookies, webRequest, downloads, or permanent advertising-platform host permissions.
